Which parts of Southern California do you cover?
Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, and the Inland Empire. International work is possible with advance coordination for airspace and permits.
Can you fly in controlled airspace near LAX, San Diego, or John Wayne Airport?
Yes. We operate regularly in Class B airspace around LAX and hold the airspace authorizations and waivers needed near SAN and John Wayne Airport. Each location is checked against the current airspace picture before the shoot is scheduled.
Do you shoot stills as well as video?
Yes. Most platforms carry a capable integrated camera for stills, and the Freefly Alta 8 can carry a cinema or photography camera body and trigger it remotely for large-format aerial photography.
What does a production receive before the shoot day?
A written flight plan, a safety meeting, and a certificate of insurance before the first call, with permits and airspace authorization closed out in pre-production.
