Platform and Capabilities

We operate the DJI Inspire 3 as our primary platform, shooting in 8K RAW with the full DJI DL lens system. The Inspire 3 supports the dynamic, high-movement aerials that define modern music video production: low-altitude tracking shots, reveal moves, orbital sequences around artists, and altitude pulls from ground level to several hundred feet in a single take.

Tracking shots: Follow a vehicle, performer, or object at speeds up to 45 mph with gimbal-stabilized lock
Orbital and reveal moves: Clean 360-degree orbitals, wide reveals, and low-altitude sweeps
Slow motion: Up to 120fps at 4K for slow-motion sequences
Vertical format: 9:16 crops for Reels and Shorts deliverables alongside standard 16:9 masters

How We Work with Directors

We treat every music video as a creative collaboration. Before the shoot, we review the treatment and storyboard with your director and discuss what the aerial sequences need to accomplish. We contribute to shot design when invited and execute precisely when the vision is already locked.

We are comfortable working with directors who have never directed aerial sequences before. We will walk through what is achievable at each location and how to design shots that cut against your ground coverage.

Los Angeles Locations

We have operational experience at Santa Monica Mountains, Malibu beaches, Angeles National Forest, downtown Los Angeles rooftops, the LA River, Griffith Park, the San Fernando Valley, Long Beach, and Palmdale. Each location has its own airspace and permitting requirements, all handled in-house.

Deliverables

ProRes 422 HQ or CinemaDNG RAW, organized by setup and take to match your shot list. Standard turnaround for selects: 24 to 48 hours. Rush delivery available for label deadlines. LUT packages provided on request to match your DIT and post workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fly at night? Yes, with the appropriate FAA waiver. Night aerials require advance planning. Contact us early if your treatment calls for nighttime exterior aerial sequences.

Can you match our colorist pipeline? Yes. We shoot in D-Log M and can provide flat files or a matched LUT for your colorist.

Do you carry equipment backup? Yes. Redundant batteries, backup remotes, and a second gimbal assembly on larger productions.
